I'm going simple this year. Gray t-shirt (complete with Romney/Ryan print), gym shorts, red baseball hat backwards, comically sized headphones, and a 1lb dumbbell and a goofy look.

Just tried the costume out for the first time. I couldn't be much happier. Now I just need to find something relevant for the wife.

Mockup for my T-800 eye. I have a 3V battery, 0.6v resistor, and a 2.4v led.

I've been testing how long it will last - looks like I'll be good with this combination for saturday. I am going to get a new battery and a holder with wire leads on it. The led itself will go inside a bouncy ball puttied to a facial prosthetic.

Fyi, i'm "borrowing" this idea for my costume this year. What's your reasoning for the dress shirt? I was going just go white t-shirt, but if a dress shirt makes the costume more definable, i'll go with that.

i think i saw the dress shirt in an episode once, but overall, if you tuck a t shirt into cutoffs, you're just going to look...ermmm..."flamboyant"? using a dress shirt instead makes the cutoffs more of a functional thing. more nevernude-ish. i'm open to thoughts on this, though.

and i resent people who have all of their hair going for the funke costume. it's something you earn by losing a little up top.

Get blue body paint and be blueman group tobias. Cutoffs, fake mustache, glasses also needed of course.

maybe there's a payoff later when people figure out the multiple levels of your costume, but blue man group tobias is too confusing. plus, i'd have to go shirtless, which is a pretty big commitment.
