Did you guys ever saw that show that ran for only one season. The girl from Eve's Plum - later went solo under the name Vitamin C and destroyed her career with it - was a host. It was like American Idol, except they chose the worst singers and they all performed under the impression they're great. The judges would complient them when they'd sing off key and such. The contestants were clueless. The audience was in on it. It was so much fun. I wish they brought it back, but I realize you can't do it often (under the same name) or future singers would have it figured out.

I remember that. I think ton loc was one of the other judges. I remember it was funny, but like 20 minutes into the first episode, the premise had already worn pretty thin. I remember a fat kid singing mony mony, and they said that people say "yeah" too much in songs, and he should say "no"instead, so he was like "mony...noooo mony... nooooo" funnier than it looks written out.

But, musically, she released 2 albums under Vit C then disappeared. They basically tried to turn her into the next Britney Spears, which was stupid because she was probably too old for that. But you know how record executives are. They only see quick $ signs. Her Eve's Plum band was soooooooooooooooo good. Like a raunchy, alternative, grunge rock. Saw them live. Really good. I own both albums and still listen to them now and then.

Their first album is one of those perfect disks with a glorious every second.

To offer a defense of PSY, “Gangnam Style” is a song from his sixth studio album. Four of his six albums have produced singles that hit #1 on the Korean charts, seven #1 singles in all. It is rather unexpected that “Gangnam Style” became a worldwide hit, but he’s an accomplished musician in Korea and has been for years. I don’t think I’d put him in the same class as a rich-parents-funded wannabe like Rebecca Black.
