Every model is shifting more to match the European model, possibly bringing it up through south Jersey right into eastern PA. The Philly weather forecaster said that as of right now, the best case model (which is steadily worsening) indicates seven inches of rain or more are possible Sun through Wed down here.

Great, I'm supposed to fly back out of Philly Sunday night.

5PM NHC advisory just came out...track shifts further west, having it over south central Jersey as a tropical storm Tuesday afternoon

I'm down here in Galveston again and just made a deal with my customer to extend my visit through next week. I'm not really interested in flying back into this crap this weekend.

Wondering if I left everything 'battened down' enough to make it through the storm.

As far as rainfall potential, they are already postin upwards of four inches of rain in western PA, and I doubt that will be all since it will slow down out in that area.

I'm south central PA, right on the track of the middle of the storm. All day we were getting ready for a disaster and will continue preparations on Monday

Something that helped us last time was a car cell charger. Kept the phones going and communications with the outside world. If you only have a wall charger, might want to get a car one.

Hmm...this can't be surface winds. It shows 88 knots for southeast PA and Maryland, which isn't really possible (this comes to over 100 mph). The max sustained winds don't come close to that, and there's no way the gusts are approaching that inland that far.
