It was trending to turn the thread into "Make penny lane Frown : ("
We have your back, penny.

I second this sentiment. While I certainly wouldn’t say I hate the Beatles, neither would I say I like their music. Their early stuff is saccharine pop music and once they started taking drugs and stuff it got weird and stupid. I can’t imagine anyone who’s not on drugs liking the song “Come Together,” for example.

I think Crosby probably is more similar to Alexander the Great than most would like to admit

You've mentioned this before and I'm just curious - is it Bobby's voice, the comparitive simplicity of the songs, or something else? I was always more of a Hunter/Garcia fan myself, and never really cared for John Perry Barlow, but I do appreciate most of Bobby's work.

That covers a vast majority.

I only get 107.9 here at work and listen to XM radio and sports talk in the car, so I don't really know what the popular songs on mainstream radio are now.
Some of my all time least favorite popular songs though from the past are:
Norah Jones: Sunrise
Crash Test Dummies: MMMMM MMMM MMMM
Those Little Gay Kids: Oom Bop
Soundgarden: Black Hole Sun
