*Macy's Parade/store windows
*Nativity at USS Plaza
*Decorations at the Frick, Carnegie Museum, and nationality rooms at the Cathedral of Learning
*Winter flower show at Phipps

*CLO's Musical Christmas Carol
*PSO Holiday Pops Concert
*BE Taylor
*Tran Siberian Orchestra
*It's A Wonderful Life at the Regent Square Cinema (free)

It sounds like it runs until Christmas, which is great. I can go at lunch during the week, instead of having to fight the weekend crowds.

this is always a fun Christmas activity and you don't even have to be in Pittsburgh to do it

Ingredients
1.5 liter bottle inexpensive dry red wine
1.5 liter bottle inexpensive American port
750 ml bottle inexpensive brandy
10 inches total of cinnamon sticks
15 cardamom seed pods or 1 teaspoon whole cardamom seeds
2 dozen whole cloves
1 orange peel, whole and washed
1/2 cup dark raisins
1 cup blanched almonds
2 cups sugar
Garnish with the peel of another orange

It's a mulled beverage and served warm. So all the flavors are given time to steep and blend together. It's quite good.
