I generally don't believe in curses and such, but dem Stillerz did go on to win the SB after Housh and White "disrespected" the Turrible Towel.

Really, it's just silly for the athletes to do IMO.

If you need to go 60-70 yards in a minute with no timeouts I can't think of a better person to have out there than a QB who hasn't played a meaningful game in 3 years with broken ribs.

Bad coaching decisions and Mike Wallace are the reason for the loss. Not enough touches for Dwyer or Miller which would have made sense to take Leftwich out of the equation as long as he doesn't fumble.

Wouldn't it benefit the Steelers if the Ravens lost at SD? A bad SD team destroyed them there last year.

yes and no, but right now SD is probably a wild card contender as well as us. Winning the division is a long shot, we should start rooting for wild card teams to lose.

Still can win the division but even if we win out and the Ravens lose to us and SD next week and then also win out with both of us 12-4 we tie the conference and head to head records and then would also tie the common games with both have two losses ( ravens with Eagles and SD, us with Raiders and Broncos).

After that would be conderence recrod and we would ahve 4 losses (Oak, Den, Bal, Ten) and Ravens would have 3 (Pit, Hou, SD).

Those two stupid losses to Ten and Oak are killing us right now. Ravens need to drop another game somewhere and we can't lose another conference game.

I'd say it's a bad thing for the Steelers being that now a precedent has been set for a one game suspension for a borderline hit because he's a "repeat offender." You have to figure Ryan Clark is next on that list.

Reed was stupid to lead with his head there. There's som gray area if the the other guy ducks into it or you glance his head but that was blatant and if, actually when, Clarke does it I won't be complaining when he's suspended. I just hope he does it when the next game is at Denver

Boggles my mind that Plax had 8 TD's last year, and has yet to be signed. Sure, he is on the downside of his career, but in a league that values offense so much, I'm amazed that he is still out there, despite all of his past transgressions.

I know, he was better last year than chad johnson yet did he even go to camp with any teams? He carried a gun into a public place and accidentally shot himself. He's an idiot, but not a woman beater.

I think that's been with him since his first Steelers trip. That being said, teams have put up with much worse PR wise, even Pacman Jones found a team again.
