i didn't know i was in charge of the turkey until the last minute.. no time for brine, just did flavor injection instead. Roasting it. I usually deep fry it at my parents house, but they're not doing Tgiving this year with all their children gone except for one. I think brining helps, but cooking the turkey to the appropriate temp is more important IMO.
