All people have a genetic predisposition to some form of anti-social behavior, whether it be benign or violent.

Looking forward to your presentation of scientific evidence in support of this claim.

It is just basic genetics. As with all other evolutionary creatures humans have certain things we carry with us from our former special ancestors that don't fit well with our domesticated lifestyle.

Also, do you think the definition of being a jerk has changed over time and things that today are considered rude may not be considered as such 10-15 years from now?

Eh it's a little of both. For example in the animal kingdom there are species who are simply more aggressive than others, different breeds of dogs for example. With the countless variations of humans on this planet some are for sure more prone to being "d-bags" than others. There is also a learned part. As usual with the nature vs. nurture argument the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Not really. You seem to be referring to instincts. But I don't feel like going into this.
