LAS VEGAS (help..)

So I've never visited Sin City, but plan to this summer... I have a few questions to ask regarding my trip if you could offer any help.

Trip Background:
-Bachelor Party for 10-12 people (age 24)
-Thursday July 4th to Sunday, July 7th (Cheaper to fly on the holiday than Friday)
-Looking for 3 rooms, maybe 4.
-Want to be on or near the strip for the cheapest price without sacrificing quality

Flight:
-Is it cheaper to bundle Hotel/Flight or take the time out to do them separately?
-I found it is cheaper to fly thursday than on friday even though it is a holiday.
-We do not all have to be on the same flight, I couldn't care less.

Hotel:
-I don't want a hotel where I can't sleep because of extremely loud noise.
-I don't care how my hotel's casino is -- I can travel to others.
-I want to be close enough to the *Clubs and LV landmarks
-I'm not trying to spend more than $120 a night, the cheaper the better, as long as sufficient.
-Are there any deals that I could call a hotel, explain my situation, and hope they give me a deal? Is there a chance to get any rooms comp'd?

I'd check Travelocity or Expedia ( or your local travel agency) for packages. You can go from as cheap to as expensive as you want, bet you can find something decent for $120. Check Tripadvisor on the hotel before you book. For a group packages are probably least hassle.

I don't really have specifics, have only been there once, for a conference. Stayed at the spring hill across from the Hilton by the convention center. Easy walk or cab distance from the strip but I had a car. Spent most spare time at the Hilton sports book.

The south end of the Strip is still close to everything and Excalibur & Luxor always have some low price deals. Luxor was offering $32/night recently. You'll be there in the summer. It will be HOT. Make sure you have a pool because you'll probably use it. MGM is at the south end and has one of those lazy river pools. I've stayed at all of these hotels and others and never had a noise problem and I'm a really light sleeper.

i stayed at the luxor last time, and wished i'd went somewhere closer to the center of the strip. thats a lot of walking. (if you want to walk around) if you get your reservations now you should be able to stay almost anywhere, go with MGM, Excal, or NYNY.

- It's almost always cheaper to bundle travel and accommodations.

- Staying over a weekend will cost roughly double what it would cost if you went during the week.
