Mark Madden touched on this, but the Steelers are becoming a harder and harder team to like. I can only think of a couple of players that I actually could say I like. Keisel...Miller...Starks? hmmm

Im with you. This team, as currently constructed, is hard to root for. Guys like Ward, Farrior, Aaron Smith, who fans loved, are now gone, and it's tough getting behind and invested in most of the guys on the team.

Im with you. This team, as currently constructed, is hard to root for. Guys like Ward, Farrior, Aaron Smith, who fans loved, are now gone, and it's tough getting behind and invested in most of the guys on the team.

That's the NFL though. There are fewer and fewer guys to root for it seems.

I'm fine with the Foote signing. I hope that they still sign Connor, and I'm hoping that Spence's knee isn't as bad as they say.

I worked with a total knee dislocation a few months ago and the guy is still in therapy. Those are nasty injuries.

I wouldn't go that far yet, it all depends on how much damage was done to the peroneal nerve.... McGahee was able to come back from a similar injury

True, but seeing the injury on replay and all does not leave me to have much hope for the guy. He seemed destine to be good, but I don't see him as anything more than average to below average special teams player.

Wallace at $12 million a year, $30 million less just isn't worth it for any WR, save maybe Calvin Johnson and Larry Fitz. That money is just better spent elsewhere. I'm not saying that isn't the "market" for Wallace or that Wallace isn't an elite WR; I just think the high end WRs are overpriced.

McGahee is kind if a straight ahead power back. Spence's main attributes may have been his speed,quickness, change of direction stuff. It would seem really hard to regain those abilities after that injury. That being said Greg Lloyd missed his rookie year after blowing out a knee that required surgery. He seriously hurt his other knee the following year. He overcame that to have a stellar career.

Wallace isn't elite. Above average. Sure. Not elite.

Gradkowski would be an upgrade at backup QB. He doesn't have much arm strength, but since the Steelers wont be going downfield anymore that doesn't really matter.

Wells has been underproductive and often injured. I'm not sure of his opinions on terrorist masterminds, but he would be able to fill Mendenhall's shoes easily
