Hard to imagine how Colon can rationalize a reason to be PO'd being cut by the Steelers this year. The guy missed almost 2 complete seasons plus a big chunk of last season. He was paid over $10 million for games he didn't play in. I don't see how any player in that situation would have hard feelings because a team decided to move on. The fact that the best deal he could get from a team was for $1 million should drive that point home.

The tuck rule has been abolished. The Steelers were the one team to vote against repealing it, with NE and Washington abstaining. I understand why the Steelers voted against it- pretty sure BRoeth had 5 fumbles last year reversed due to the rule, and the Pats would want to keep the rule since that and cheating for 6 years are why anyone cares about them now. Not sure why the Skins abstained.

I think his absence will hurt the Ravens more than his presence will help the Texans but that's just me. He's still got ballhawk skills even if he is on the decline but especially with the murderer gone he meant more to their defense than just his on-field playing ability.

The Bungals are going to have to seriously mess up to not win the division next year...but if there's one thing the past several years have taught me, it's that the Bungals will always find a way to screw up.

He already does. It was reported a couple weeks ago (I believe by Peter King) that at best he was going to make half of what the Steelers renegotiated offer was.
