I just wish people were more considerate of those who own rear wheel drive cars (like me). I'm smart enough not to venture out when its snowing, but if I were stuck somewhere today I wouldn't have very much control over the car driving home.

It has a tendency to spin out perpendicular to the road out of nowhere. A car passing it is liable to be hit for not reason when the rear end swings out.

It's not about "knowing how to drive" or "its just a little bit of snow." Anything laying on the ground is able to slide me into another lane even going under 15 mph

I wish people were considerate of those smart enough not to buy rear wheel drive cars anymore and not buy them if they live in an area that is reasonably likely to get snow.

I love all the people saying "Why is everyone driving in this weather! Stay home people!"

there are some of us that have these things called jobs.

Yeah if you buy a RWD car you deserve the pain and suffering of driving in the snow with it :pop:

Between those and the "not a damn salt plow truck in sight!".. uh, yeah.. there's salt trucks out there. There isn't one every half a mile on the road.

A FWD is only inferior to people who don't have the sense to rotate their tires. both are inferior to AWD and 4WD vehicles.

I agree. If you have a RWD car, put 10000 lbs of sand in the back.

Well perhaps they shut it down and are not allowing anyone else on.. not like all the cars stuck on it will magically disappear.

Left work at 11:55, I'm just now getting home. Normally it's a 15-20 min commute, maybe 25 during rush hour.
