Although I spend most of my time on here celebrating life's wonderful happenings with my friends, reaching out to those who may need a listening ear, and sharing pictures of my family with long-distance friends and family, the time has come to put an end to all the noise and madness that unfortunately comes along with the good stuff.
I am returning to keeping a hard-copy address book, writing hand-written notes, and maybe even sending the occasional e-mail with pictures of my kids. No more blasting every moment that occurs throughout the day. Those special moments are to be savored, not broadcasted.
I will be spending from now until December 31 building my address book. If you want to keep in touch, comment here or send me a message so we can exchange contact information.
Much love to you all in 2015!
Countdown to Facebook deactivation! Less than 13 hours to go. If you want to stay in touch, private-message me so we can exchange contact info.
Although I'm having mixed emotions about giving up Facebook, I also see this as a new opportunity to nurture my friendships and relationships--offline. Yes, it will be a challenge, and I may not always get around with the same responsiveness as I would by hitting an enter button. But in the end, I feel that "quality over quantity" will make the communication that much more meaningful.
Cheers to 2015 and new beginnings!
These two. Natalie with one sock off and hat crooked and over one eye, and Camden passed out with a vacuum cleaner extension in hand. I'm going to miss sharing moments like these with all of you.
Bye bye, Facebook. Love, Max and Apollo.

2014 was one of the most stressful years of my life. Wife beat cancer, quit job/new job, bought a house, moved to a state I've never really been to. Good riddance, and **** you Facebook for trying to sell it to me as something great.
