Congratulate them on finally getting to 1/3 of what the Steelers have accomplished in terms of Super Bowl wins. At this rate, it'll be just another 13 years and they will hit 1/2. Unless the Steelers win another one. Then they will be down to 2/7.

Well the Steelers had a 30 year head start on Super Bowl wins, since the Ravens came into existance in 1996 the teams are tied at 2 in Super bowls.

I guess they could point to their brown's jim brown era championships.

They moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens, brand new franchise. Not an expansion team but the Browns history stayed in Cleveland with the current Browns team. If the Browns would have won a Super Bowl before the move it would be counting for the current browns, not the Ravens.

That's a cop out. Ravens had no problem leaving a crap legacy behind, if they had anything worth holding on to they would have brought it to Baltimore or never had moved in the first place.

I think that's a stretch that a different referee would have altered the DPI calls.

i love how he debunks the romanticism and absolute truths that people pretend exist in sports. and his point about the power outage was great. if the ravens were that disrupted by a long pause in the game, why did they continue where they left off after half time?

Just glad the Niners made it a game. It's a shame Kap couldn't play the first half like he did the 2nd. Probably nerves but I also think he should have run more.

I wasn't too crazy about the red zone play calling on the Niners last series.

As a Niner's fan I don't feel as disappointed as I thought I would be.

i'm not proud to admit that i was angrier after this game than i was after the steelers lost against GB. it's 1 part spite against the birds and 1 part the niners blowing a great comeback story. i'm a fan of genuinely great stories.

No idea why the niners went away from the run on that last red zone possession. They were having their way on the ground with Ngata out.

I pretty much despise all things Ravens, but I was happy for Ed Reed and Suggs. I have a ton of respect for both of those guys.

I respect the larger anti-AA stance, but I think your position on this specific application is mispremised. I think most all NFL officials are fully capable of officiating an NFL game--there's plenty of alternative available, and I think the NFL would quickly replace the bad ones. As such, the official was qualified. The NFL merely made a determination that it would rather have a black official (I find this perfectly legitimate, by the way, but that's a separate issue) instead of rewarding the official that has performed the best all year. In other words, I find the choice to be a reward, not a vetting of the qualified official.

They could have been more transparent, to be sure. But i doubt it affected the game.
