So the PA State stores would sell it. That would bring in far and away more money to the state than any casinos. And it would be very interesting in that the feds couldn't do anything, since the state of PA would be selling it directly. Interesting, although this will not pass with our current governor.

Yeah the angle that our state owned and operated stores would be the ones selling this is pretty unique, all of the other states that legalized allowed for private distribution. The money this could generate for PA would be ridiculous.

I'm all for it. And no, I dont smoke. The $$ from taxes could go a long way. Treat it the same as alcohol with regards to impairment while in a vehicle and public intoxication and things of that nature.

The casinos were supposed to remove our property taxes. I don't think I've heard a word of that since the licenses were awarded.

Yeah it is not going to get anywhere. But in my opinion, it should. This is going to happen anyway eventually. Why not be first and get the monetary rewards instead of being last (like with Casinos) and get nothing.
