It amazes me that this team is 19 games over .500 and they are completely incapable of getting a base hit with a RISP. 0-6. You might as well ask a **** monkey to do theoretical physics.

Steve Cishek was throwing 84 MPH consistently.

Were the hitters bored to death?

**** you Neil Walker, BTW.

To add insult to injury, St Louis is about to lose 4-1. Could have picked up a game.

Awesome, new trend on twitter (although I'm sure not really new) Pirate fans no longer have the right to be upset when the team loses.

I'd love to see what one of this playoff Marlin teams would do tonight to a 38 win Pirate team

McKenry in the lineup tonight- Martin suffered a knee injury last night. Snider in RF.

Back to back doubles, Pirates up 1-0 in the first. First-inning runs? I picked a wrong time to stop sniffing glue.

1-0 Bucs. RBI double by Walker. Yes, they are 1-1 with RISP so far.

Back to back doubles to start. 1-0. This feels weird.

Are we continuing last night's game? Admittedly, I was a tad disappointed in the low numbers (only because they didn't put runners on base in the first place)

1 for 2 with RISP, but the fact that they were 1 for 1 is a huge step.

If you wish. I compensated for the lack of RISP by rage drinking at getting shut out by the Marlins.

Oh, Pedro. A strikeout was the one thing you couldn't do there.

Cutch is in a 4-25 slump since his 4-5 effort against the Reds a week ago.

2-0 Bucs. Jones with a double. This means McKenry gets a chance to drive in a run.

I wouldn't be more surprised if I woke up in the morning with my forehead stapled to the carpet....way to go McKenry.

I don't ever think I mentioned it, but that centerfield thing is an eyesore.

His name slipped my mind, so I just generalized the entire team.
