Yeah Hurdle this game isn't important at all, let Barmes and the young bums get some at bats.

Bright spot being that Liriano has bounced back every game after a bad one this year right?

They could make it easy on themselves this weekend and just have to avoid a sweep, could they?

Good point, although I'm not even sure this was a bad start. He didn't have his best but still ground through five, he shouldn't have even been out there for the sixth and surely should have got pulled after the first two guys reached.

That is not Clint "two batters too late" Hurdle's style

What are the odds that McCutchen stops sucking and comes through during the next series when his team needs him more than ever?

If you're Hurdle and Sunday's game means nothing, is he smart enough to not use Cole and save him to possibly come out of the pen in relief of Liriano on Tuesday?

I just want them to get to 93 wins to avoid having 70 losses.

[Edit: Preaching to the choir]

Yeah, Frank giving up the 3-run HR today may lead to a lights-out performance in a WC game.

We still might get St. Louis in first round if we make it. Them and Atlanta battling for the 1 seed.

Have to 2 out of 3 to get the home game regardless.

Burnett, Locke, Morton -- Liriano -- Burnett, Cole, Locke, Liriano?

Is that what we should expect?

So, I see if Cole pitches 162 he can pitch Game 2 of a potential NLDS: so, it'll likely go

Burnett, Morton, Cole -- Liriano -- Burnett, Cole, Liriano (if there is an off day)

WC game the 2nd, DS games the 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 9th

WC - Liriano
DS1 - Burnett
DS2 - Morton
DS3 - Cole
DS4 - Liriano
DS5 - Burnett

Is probably what you would see - the only difference would be if Liriano would pitch on 3 days rest and go in game 3 of the DS.

WC game on Tuesday...Thank God Tuesday is a work-at-home day for me. I'd be a mess and shouldn't be out in public.

Let's go, Bucs!

So is it 100% that the Pirates will host the WC game Tuesday? Time?
