Sky blast has always had bands. They perform behind second base. Fireworks shoot off from the river/tops of buildings

Yeah sky blast definitely has not always had bands. They used to play pop music on like 50 second intervals.

Hmm I don't remember that. Anyway yeah fanjam is just a concert. Kinda lame when the show isn't any good and there are no fireworks to distract you

Maybe i'm thinking of just fireworks nights. Who knows. I used those nights to leave early and beat traffic anyway. I have never understood the appeal of watching fireworks shows.

Most of the people that watch the fireworks are with their kids. Kids usually love fireworks.

Yeah I had to look back at promo schedules from when I had my tickets. I thought sky blast was just what they called their fireworks shows, but apparently in the same seasons they had fireworks shows and sky blast. :pop: Memory is going in my old age.

I got the 20 game saturday package just so I can go to 10 and sell 10. Saturday games because of all the festivities are by far the easiest

You cant trade into Saturday games if you dont have a Saturday plan. I am no interest in going to saturday games, I trade 8 my saturday games for weekday games and get a credit to my account. The other 10 I sell.

There was definitely a few times they did Skyblast fireworks without a band. I think they were right when they first started them but now the skyblast have always had bands the last 6-7 years..

Up until 2 years ago they let you trade into Saturdays which was nice on the rare occasion I wanted to go to one.

Am I correct that this is not the first time the Goo Goo Dolls have been there for a Pirates game?

There is still one more fan jam that has an unannounced band. It will probably end up being the Buzz Poets or the Clarks LOL.

Pirates and Padres make a trade.

The Pittsburgh Pirates today acquired outfielder Jaff Decker (first name pronounced Jeff) and right-handed pitcher Miles Mikolas from the San Diego Padres in exchange for minor league outfielder Alex Dickerson. The announcement was made by Pirates Senior Vice President, General Manager Neal Huntington.

Wonder why the Pirates had to give away an asset for two guys that were recently designated for assignment.

I think the best news is that Garrett Jones is off the 40-man roster and hopefully gone from this team.

I guess the team didn't think too highly of Dickerson. Don't mind them picking up a bullpen arm. Most annoying thing is the dude they got is named Jaff.
