Let's see if they can win Wandy's start tomorrow to win at least one game in that horrible city of Milwaukee.

That's an appropriate post no matter when we're playing the Brewers. Works in December just as well.

I really like this Justin Wilson, makes me a lot less nervous than Watson......though Watson has been pretty good this year.

First place in the Central. Wasn't April supposed to be tough? 15 wins is the most in April for the Bucs since 1992.

Has anybody else noticed that (excluding the first week or two) this team has been more than solid offensively and Cutch is batting sub-.220? Really impressive to me that everyone else is stepping up. I just hope Cutch can get something going soon.

Imagine if they had showed up for those first two series. I definitely feel a lot more comfortable about the rotation with MacDonald and Locke looking ok and good respectively.

Thank heavens they didn't pull the trigger on any of those garret jones trades, he looks like a legit middle of the order bat right now.

McCutchen didn't really show up till May of last year, so I'm not too concerned about his struggles, there are plenty of other guys hitting right now so it's no reason to emphasize his struggles. The offense is a doing a good job of getting to teams' bullpens, but a product of that is all the strikeouts...if they can just improve their 2 strike hitting, they could become a really tough team to pitch too.

The issues with the pitching staff will hopefully just be fixed by having Liriano replace Sanchez and Contreras take over Hughes's role in the bullpen. Cut Sanchez and push all the lesser guys down the line in the bullpen. Also looks like Morton might be forcing his way onto the ML roster, he pitched well today in his Altoona start. I'm not exactly sure what they want to do with him unless they just want to move locke to the bullpen. I'd rather they try Morton out of the bullpen until Locke falters, Morton really only has one good half a season under his belt, and that started to unfold when he couldn't get any left handed batters out. He could be a nice weapon out of the bullpen.

Walker got off to a slow start too. If they can keep it up when those guys get going we'll be alright.

Went into this trip thinking a split in philly and one win in saint louis would be fine. If we don't get swept in Milwaukee, i think this road trip would be a win in my book.

If we can start playing Milwaukee even or better we've really turned a corner.
