I can't wait for El Blimpo to start caring again. Should have been a GIDP.

Man, it would be nice if the Pirates had someone who could pinch-hit for Hopeless here.

Marte goes yard this inning on the 4th pitch he sees and saves us from a MATW sighting.

James McDonald would have been more of a threat there.

Brandon Inge is playing SS. Unless McDonald hurt himself this makes no sense at all even for Hurdle.

The Brewers are out of competent relievers and lefties. End this now.

He's 3rd on the team in WAR. He's not a problem.

Dear LAA Angels,

Great move trading Segura to the Brewers, you're a terrible organization at this juncture and I hope that $200M roster keeps on being terrible. I assume Trout is off the table, but if you have any other premium prospects you'd like to give away please consider the pirates.

He's not a problem but he's still not where he could be. This is actually good news. We're where we are and he's nowhere near as great as he was in the first half last year.

He's on pace for something around a 35 HR 100 RBI 35 steal season. His average is only 270 but for a slump I think he's doing alright.

Nashville, Cutch was off to a very slow start and people had the nerve to mention it. So now we have to hear about it each and every time he does something good for the remaining 123 games. Don't you know that's the way things go around here?

I'd say thats a good comparison. Good thing everyone else doesn't jump on a high horse each time Hopeless, MATW, or anyone else with a nickname does something good or this place would be insufferable.

He's not a problem yet people still crap on him. His May numbers so far are .304/385/.457. His April 2013 OPS was actually higher than his April 2012 OPS, but you wouldn't know it if you listened to fans. He was 2nd in OBP, 3rd in SLG, 3rd in OPS, 2nd in WAR, and 8th in HR last season yet all anyone says is that he stunk in the 2nd half of last year as if he was supposed to maintain his pre-All Star numbers. Fans seem to take a perverse joy in somehow diminishing him like by saying "our best hitter has been our worst hitter" or calling him terrible when he slumps rather than appreciating the fact that one of the best players in baseball is on the team.
