Hughes gets out of it by the skin of his teeth. If the Pirates are going to do anything it's in the 7th with Cutch, Sanchez and El Blimpo. K looking on 6 pitches, groundout to short, 3 pitch swinging K.

Martin walked- I forgot Hurdle has him hitting between Sanchez and El Blimpo. Now comes the El Blimpo 3 pitch swinging K.

El Blimpo, Flabbata and Hopeless. Can 3 hitters strike out on less than 9 pitches?

El Blimpo with his 3rd K, and I think all 3 had him waving at a pitch in the dirt.

Pirates got 6 runs on the season so far. Today alone 5 teams have scored more runs than that and 7 others have tied it.

Worst part is that the offense will wake up right about when the pitching falls apart.

They will have about a month or 2 of them both clicking at the same time, they love to get our hopes up before they collapse.

Whats the record for most innings not scoring a run? We won't score on Ryu tomorrow and I doubt we get anything off of Cahill or McCarthy after that either.

Pirates already the only team in the league without a home run. Also the worst batting average, lowest RBIs, etc.
