Awesome pics. I cannot express how much Danica irks me. I thought for a while, cool a girl that is semi-attractive, likes racing, and knows about cars. However after hearing several interviews she has done she knows very little to nothing about the car she drives and quite frankly has very little personality. You'd expect her to 1. Know everything about the car she drives for a living and 2. At least be trained in PR by someone to grow the sport... I guess that's why you don't see a lot of long interviews with her though.
Thanks everyone. I had Fanzone passes for all 3 days. It gets you access to the infield to check out the garage area and victory lane. Plus you can go down on the track before each race. Anybody can buy the passes. They are a little expensive but I was able to get a great deal on them for about 30% off. The customer service rep I talked to when ordering tickets was extraordinarily nice. We happened to get to the track early enough on Sunday to get a really good spot next to the stage for driver introductions.
This was my view of the massive wreck. Couldn't see much, but everyone knew it was bad when we saw stuff flying extremely high in the air. It was like there was a lot of smoke then a big explosion of stuff. Just didn't seem normal. Then the TV screens infront of us showed the wheel and engine sitting on the ground inside the fence.
