Bike help

Postby eddysnake on Mon Mar 11, 2013 1:33 pm

I've had my Trek mt bike for about 12 years now and it's at the point where it's going to be more cost effective to replace it rather than upgrade it. I've also strayed more towards road riding with a few trails rather than all out mountain. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm thinking around $500. I've been seeing a lot of Gary Fisher, Jamis, and Giant lately, but haven't actively looked in quite some time.

Go with a hybrid bike, you should be able to get something very servicable for under $500.

Fuji Nevada 1.0, one of the few 29ers that you can find around the $500 mark.
