My new money pit hobby - collecting Mondo movie posters

Postby pittsoccer33 on Sun Mar 31, 2013 2:36 pm

From their info page:

Mondo creates limited edition screen printed posters for our favorite classic and contemporary films, in addition to vinyl movie soundtracks, VHS re-issues, and apparel. We also have a permanent gallery space in Austin, TX featuring a mix of original artwork and limited edition screen prints.

I found out about them looking for info on the Drive soundtrack vinyl release. My pc movie library software has actually included some of their artwork in my posters and covers section but I never knew what the source was. Given that they screen print everything production runs are limited and posters can be hard to get.

A few awesome ones:

The back to the future ones were up on reddit a while back and a guy posted them in full resolution. I'd imagine if you took them to a Kinko's or whatever, you could get a decent replica set for relatively cheap

Some are really cool, but man alive for the price I don't get the attraction, so many cheaper nicer alternatives
