RIP. I'm actually a little shocked. He just announced yesterday that his cancer returned, but seemed to be in good spirits. I knew the time was coming, but I didn't think ti woudl be a day later.

I used to really enjoy watching Siskel and Ebert back in the day (Ebert and Roeper wasn't bad, either). Wasn't it on at like 11 in syndication?

One of the critics I really liked.

So, in his honor, here are his worst mistakes :

Ebert actually took the list as a compliment, and admitted some of that stuff on it indeed made sense:

The original Sneak Preview was terrific. Great analysis, very literate, no need for bs hammed-up personalities.

Loathed him as a critic. That said he was involved in the movie industry, so I still liked him and wanted his job. :pop: Sucks.

It is true that I am fat, but one day I will be thin, and he will still be the director of 'The Brown Bunny.'

That slag of "The Brown Bunny" was pretty epic. I'm also partial to his review of "Caligula".

He looks like a movie prostetic I can't spell and just drank a giant glass of booze. Good bye movie reviewer guy.
