*and answer me this: I think that play was short of the line to gain - but the spot out of replay did not appear to jive with the actual play, and they never bothered to measure. It seemed like they were incapable of making an accurate spot of the ball. (Should have been ~ halfway between the 20 and the 21, not all the way at the 21). Maybe this is a difference of the college and NFL rules, since it seems to me the NFL would move the spot if it should be moved, and then measure - such that to be successful, the challenging side has to win both parts. That they took an errant spot and created another errant spot in the process, are they really that bumbling? (College still has it where the Referee can't see the video like the NFL referee can, but simply is the booth official that decides?)
