it was a bad call. goes to show you can do anything you want in the end zone on the last play of a half.

Staggy wrote:Lol the "Patriots never get calls against them!!!" posts are hilarious coming from Pens fans. It's the stuff Caps and Flyers fans say about us and we ridicule them. Should it have been pass interference? Probably. Do they ever call that in those situations? No.

So what? Doesn't change the fact its true regardless of what we say about Caps and Flyers fans. The Patriots were holding in the end of the Saints game they won in the end and they didn't get true. As far as i'm concerned, it all evened out in the end.

I love that the argument for the call being correct is that Gronk didn't sell the hold. That should have been an easy hold and maybe PI.

Defensive holding, and if Brady hadn't thrown the ball so short it could have been PI.

Not that I'm broken up about the Pats/Brady having a call go against them..... altho if history is any indicator, next year there will be a new definition of what constitutes holding in the defensive backfield.

Correct. He's committed 10 penalties this year. Last year he committed 10 penalties while missing some games.

One offsides penalty against the Packers. It's hard to commit penalties when you're never close enough to hit anyone. This also explains why the Steelers have zero roughing the passer calls.

Artie Lange is fond of a story talking about the municipal court they used to have at Veteran's Stadium in Philly. I guess there was this news story about the cast of characters that would pass through there, some on a regular basis. One guy, obviously on the verge of passing out, is brought up before the judge who admonishes him for his repeat appearances before his bench. Before sentencing, he asks the super-drunk Eagles fan if he has anything he wants to say. The guy stumbles and leans to and fro.... and finally says, "Troy Aikman's a f*g."

Looks like Terrelle Pryor has gone from a feel good "potential star" story to being replaced by Matt McGloin. Buzz kill.

He'll always have the longest run by a QB in NFL history.

McGloin is a way better "feel good" story anyways, so it all worked out.

Incorrect. When a feel good replaces a feel good, it creates a double negative, which just makes everyone feel bad.

Honestly, I hate Ohio State and Terrell Pryor...but I thought he deserved a little longer of a look...that said, I did not watch the Raiders/Texans game. But I saw Pryor play earlier this season and, begrudgingly, he raised my eyebrows a couple times...and I'm not easily impressed by QBs...I'm sure he'll get back in soon enough...

I didn't get to see him in any game besides vs. Pittsburgh, but his 5 tds / 10 ints / 69 qb rating doesn't look great...
