As long as we're not talking football, I sure hope that 180 days is enought time for Josh Brent to mull over that manslaughter conviction. *whew* Sure hope he survives that hell.

Are you implying, based on precedent, that it's okay he only got 180 days? Or lambasting the system as a whole?

Your reaction is akin to going outside without a coat today and complaining about the cold.

I guess. Kill someone with a gun, 20 years. Get drunk and kill someone with your car, 6 months, but just don't do it again for 10 years.

Yeah... When you do a web search, what we're discussing only returns about a thousand hits.

So why is LGP the only place that this is being discussed?

Don't worry, you can still kill someone with a gun and get away with it.

For what it's worth, in VA involuntary manslaughter under the sentencing guidelines puts you in a range of up to 6 months. Vehicular involuntary manslaughter puts you around 7-15 months.

There's a difference between murder and manslaughter for a reason.

I let the Rolex 24 sneak up on me somehow, so now I have 24 hours of sports car racing I have to watch this weekend out of nowhere. I won't even come close to watching the Pro Bowl now. Thank you, Tudor/FS1/FS2.
