Exactly. If he hadn't been wearing black and gold, he'd be in. Same with LC Greenwood.

You act like the HOF has some bias against the Steelers, I'd have to look it up, but I'm assuming they probably are in the top 5 in regards to teams of players in the HOF.

The Steelers are third in "primary" hof inductees. Counting all hof members who were ever with the steelers they have the most.
LC Greenwood should be in the hof, and there was a bias against the Steelers having "too many" members from the 70's in the hof.
Dermonitti Dawson was the best center of a generation and went to seven straight probowls, it took him 7 years to get into the hall; it seems that there is probably voters who still think there are too many steelers in the hof.

You're confusing malice with incompetence. Charles Haley still isn't in the HOF. Ray Guy is just now getting in. HOF voting is weird.

Yeah this pretty much. Certainly don't think its bias against the Steelers.

It sounds good to say he averaged 1000 yards a season but it doesn't sound so goo when you say he averaged 60 yards per game.

Is the kickoff at 6:30 or is that the start of another two hour pre-game?

Was making food for SB dinner party, and figured why not turn on the Fox 4 hour SB pregame to fill the dead air. Immediately when they come back from commercial Joe Buck is on a soapbox about the humble beginnings of Fox Sports, the worldwide leader in most watched sports blah blah blah. Turned on Red Bull Signature snow truck racing instead. Fixed.

Kickoff is usually some stupid time like 6:23. I'd have the station turned on by 6pm.

Anyone have a list of prop bets? I bet actual kick off time is on there. I'd bet the over with the over/under at 6:43.

What was up with the random Bill O'Reilly interview with Barack Obama during Fox's pregame?.. Just stupid. I didn't tune in for politics.

Yeah, that was very weird regardless of who you were pulling for in that rushed interview of sorts...you, a heavy-hitter on the interviewers' roster, got a chance to sit one on one with the President...that should have been used as an opportunity to do an hour special on FNC...not arbitrarily stuffed into 7 minutes of pre-game coverage...

Since we probably have another three days until kickoff...share your thoughts on this...

How much would viewership dip if the NFL made this a pay-per-view event for like $19.95 or whatever...? My guess is that more people would be apt to cluster up and watch it together, but it's already practically a national holiday if it were not on a Sunday already...

They would probably lose a lot of advertising money doing this.
