What are you doing for the moms in your life today

Postby PghSkins on Sun May 12, 2013 7:30 am

My Mom's in Florida visiting my Grandma today so I will get to talk to them both later.

Making my wife breakfast in bed- crepes filled with creme fraiche with raspberry sauce, then filets on the grill for dinner. The kids will either be helping her with whatever she needs help with, or be taken out of her hair later (or both)- whatever she wants.

My mom's birthday was on the 8th and she flew out to visit me for a couple days and I took her to dinner. Today is my niece's birthday so I did face time on the iPad to wish my sister in law happy Mother's Day and my mother the same and my niece happy birthday haha

Spent my Mother's Day in the kitchen of the Wooden Angel. Gave mom her card and a new pens shirt last night. Ah the life of a cook, always celebrating holidays on the day before or after.

Church, her grandparents place in west va where there were 4 generations of the family (pretty cool), got home and cleaned the kitchen and living room while my wife played with our son. A really really good day.
