I also have Cecil Shorts of the Jags to use as a WR or Flex and they are playing K.C. week one.

I dont think. I like dwayne harris as the third reciever. I dont even have williams on my list for throwaway 17th round pick in the keeper league...nor do i have harris actually. Even if austin gets hurt, youre lookin at sitting behind bryant and witten for targets.

I can see why they drafted him because harris probably tops out as 3rd/returner and williams ceiling is higher, but they dont need him right now, hes pure sideline reciever. Hes a bryant handcuff at best, and reciever handcuffs are worthless as far as im concerned.

First time doing this, how did I do.

QB-M. Stafford
QB-R. Wilson

RB-L. McCoy
RB-A. Morris
RB-J. Rodgers
RB-D. Woodhead

WR.-A. Johnson
WR-H. Nicks
WR-M. Austin
WR-C. Shorts

TE-B. Pettigrew
TE-T Eifert

K-K. Forbath
K-D. Akers

DEF-Green Bay
DEF-Minnesota

See if the guy with D. Richardson or some other lower tier starting RB needs a QB. Your top 2 RBs are money though

Who would you list as the lower tier starting backs? The league I am in the guys always veto the trades before they go through. I liked the fact of having two good starting QB's to play matchups. I know I made a mistake there when the other guys were not taking their second QB's till 3-4 rounds from the bottom.

D. Richardson, Mendenhall, D. Williams, Lacy, Hillman/Ball, D. Murray, McFadden, Bernard, L. Miller would be my picks as lower tier

Would you guys be comfortable with D. Richardson as your RB2?

It's not that they have to be available, it's whether the person you're gonna target 1. Needs a good starting QB or are they relatively deep at running back where one of those guys is their#3

I took shots this year on teams that don't much of an option other than running the ball for running backs: Richardson and MJD. I also grabbed Chris Ivory and Law Firm. Really not comfortable with my RB situation, but it is what it is.

I think he'll be a top 24 RB probably in the 15-20 range so he is a RB #2 but it's not someone who'll knock your socks off

All trades get pretty much rejected in the league by the other members. At least that's what I was told yesterday.

I am pretty happy with who I got other than at TE. I just don't know who would be smart to start at that flex spot week to week.

Would Felix Jones be worth a pick up it looks like he might start at least week one?

That's so silly. Unless there's obvious collusion running your team, trades and all, is up to the owners.

Yeah drop a kicker and take a flier. He's not the healthiest guy but he does have the most talent of anyone left on the Steelers RB situation. I wouldn't start him week 1 but grab him and see where it goes.

I had dwyer in my one league and just dropped him for obvious reasons and got jones. Jones is better than redman in my estimation, and should be the starter till injury or bell comes back.

If he can't drop a kicker, he probably won't be able to drop a D either.

I kept going back and forth with picking up Jones and dropping Woodhead. Until someone just picked up jones and made my decision easier I guess

Its not that all trades are not allowed but any involving me would be. The league is separated into 3 divisions with four teams in each division. They split the divisions by what ever department you work in. Four of us work in the warehouse/dock, four work in food service, and the last four work in patient services. My division is made up of myself two of the guys that work on the receiving dock and our department head. If you try and make a trade and 2 of the 3 other owners in your division veto it you cant do it. The two idiots that work on the dock have vetoed just about every trade anybody has tried to make in our division or so I have been told.

But if an owner from another division proposes a trade to me those two jagaloons have no veto power against it. Its up to the other owners in that teams division to decide the fate of the trade.

So just PM others/email them and see if there's interest. If there is ask them to propose the trade and work it that way.
