Pettigrew at this point without much hesitation if you are talking about starting either guy. I'd rather own Thomas as a TE2, though, because of the upside.

I don't mind keeping them both but they both have the same week nine bye-week. So I would have an issue later down the road. Right now my TE1 is Thomas and my TE2 is Eifert from the Bengals. I would have to drop him to pick Pettigrew back up.

Curious what you guys think about my team, it's a 12 team league with standard scoring. You start a QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, a TE, FLEX, D/ST, and K. I had the 8th pick.

QB: Peyton Manning
RB: Ray Rice, Stevan Ridley, Montee Ball, Ronnie Hillman, Fred Jackson
WR: Steve Smith, Cecil Shorts, Greg Jennings, Josh Gordon, Ryan Broyles
TE: Rob Gronkowski, Zach Sudfeld
D: Baltimore
K: I don't even know, whoever I feel like picking up

Obviously my receivers are pretty bad but assuming Gronk comes back healthy Week 3 or 4, I should have advantages at QB, RB, and TE most weeks.

Top 3-5 QB, two top 10 RBs, Probably #1-2 TE. I'd say you're just fine

Whoever drafted Matt Ryan first is not a smart person. He shouldn't even be the first QB off of the board.

Had my final draft tonight. 12-team keep 3. Things were going great until the ******* Rodgers owner took Luck.

QB: Russell Wilson, Sam Bradford
RB: Stevan Ridley, David Wilson, Reggie Bush, Andre Brown
WR: Calvin Johnson, Victor Cruz, Pierre Garcon, Josh Gordon, Vincent Brown, Michael Crabtree
TE: Vernon Davis
DST: Bears
K: Phil Dawson

Still pretty happy with the team overall. There are two flex spots WR/RB and WR/TE hence the loading up at WR.
Rosters have two IR slots, so Brown and Crabtree will be IR'd and other guys added.
Best part about this team is I can put my out of office on for Week 9. Byes for: Bush, Wilson, Megatron, Cruz, Davis, Dawson on bye.

OK, finished drafting. League seemed a bit...weird. QBs galore in the first 2 rounds. How'd I do for not having much FF experience?

Starting Slots (8-8)
QB Stafford, Matthew QB (DET 9)
RB Spiller, C.J. RB (BUF 12)
RB Charles, Jamaal RB (KAN 10)
WR Cobb, Randall WR (GNB 4)
WR Colston, Marques WR (NOR 7)
TE Gronkowski, Rob TE (NWE 10)
K Prater, Matt K (DEN 9)
D/ST Patriots, New England D/ST (NWE 10)
Bench Slots (8-8)
BE Smith, Torrey WR (BAL 8)
BE Smith, Steve WR (CAR 4)
BE Flacco, Joe QB (BAL 8)
BE Cameron, Jordan TE (CLE 10)
BE Greene, Shonn RB (TEN 8)
BE Thomas, Pierre RB (NOR 7)
BE Jeffery, Alshon WR (CHI 8)
BE Rodgers, Jacquizz RB (ATL 6)

What is the scoring? Seems really good for a 12 team. I can't figure out how you got two top 5 picks selecting 8th overall.

Round 1:

1.12 Griffin III, R. QB (WAS)
1.11 Brady, T. QB (NWE)
1.10 Foster, A. RB (HOU)
1.9 Johnson, C. WR (DET)
1.8 Spiller, C. RB (BUF)
1.7 Morris, A. RB (WAS)
1.6 Rodgers, A. QB (GNB)
1.5 Peterson, A. RB (MIN)
1.4 Brees, D. QB (NOR)
1.3 Manning, P. QB (DEN)
1.2 Martin, D. RB (TAM)
1.1 Ryan, M. QB (ATL)

I just dont know what I could be missing. Used the analysis tool for the league, and it projects me 107 total points higher than the next highest team.

If I'm reading that right that's insane bonuses for QBs. That's why they were flying so fast.

So if a QB throws, let's say, a 15 yard TD pass:

You get 26 points x 15 yards?

I don't know, mac, but from the looks at that confusing little scoring thing you posted, it's sounding more and more like both of these are true.

That said, at least you have a QB that can throw for 400 yards at the drop of a hat...so, I'm guessing you're covered anyhow...? But if I'm reading that scoring thing correctly, I'd definitely quit that league on principle.

So if some bender like Reggie Bush breaks off a 90 yard TD run and finishes the day with 13 carries, 108 yards, TD. Instead of the 16 points that normal humans would give him, instead he would get 4,596 points for the TD alone (no yards included)...?
