I'd go Shorts over Austin, but I'm bigger on Shorts than most people.

He usually does much better with Henne than Gabbert.

Ridley. I don't think there's a question. Don't let a couple bad weeks fool you. He was benched week 1 because of fumbles and the Pats O-line imposed its will. The Jets have an underrated front 7. The Pats O-line is damn good and they have zero healthy good receivers. Ridley will most likely finish as a top 5-7 back and is a lock for double digit TDs. Don't be fooled by these first 2 weeks.

Ditto to this, but man has he been frustrating

I came into 14 league (keeper team) with a lineup of: Kapernick, R. Rice, Martin, Ridley, Amendola, Shorts, and Olsen.. I thought my team was STACKED for 14 teams. Weak 1 loss in which I had the 11 most points in the league, then Ridley on Thursday / Amendola being out has me starting Hartline... I'm already looking at a likely 0-2 start :(

I think I am going with Austin at least everything is pointing me that way.

KC slot corner is out and he would be the guy covering Austin. Cecil Short's groin is a little sore so I dont know how that will effect him. I have the Raiders defense starting against the Jags. And there is a big difference between Romo throwing balls to you compared to Chad Henne. I still have so time to change if you want to convince me to go the other way.

Haha, I won't do much convincing. I'm just higher than most on Cecil (just love his talent) and lower than most on Austin (3rd option in that passing game). Most FF players / experts would probably agree with you.

QB question: Rivers, E. Manning or Ryan?

Denver gave up a lot of yards to Flacco, so I would say Eli or Ryan

Eli or Ryan was more of the dilemma. Does Eli play well against Peyton, historically?

I don't think you should look at it that way, because Indy's D when Peyton was there is pretty different than Denver's current D.

Ben Tate already has 60 rushing yards, for whoever was debating on playing him.

Somehow I'm keeping it competitive, but he still has 4 or 5 guys left, and I only have 3.

Left Martellus Bennett on the bench in favor of Jimmy Graham.

76 yards, 2 TD catches for 19.6 points.

You can't really be too upset about that, there's never going to be a reason to bench Graham unless he's not playing.

Pulled it out in the end with the 100 yard bonus point scoring.
