What are the chances recruiting gets better for Pitt because they're in the ACC? Legitimate question, not knowing how conferences make recruiting better.

Don't worry, Pitt will still pick off Logan Thomas 3 times.

At least they should get a lottery draft pick.

I understand why Pitt wanted to go to the ACC, but....I mean they know they will be lucky to win 4-5 games a year right? The ACC or atleast most of it is going to destroy Pitt.

You'll beat VT. Win your 4 OOC games and Duke and that's a bowl.

It's how you get better. Not treading water in the terrible big east. They will be better. Give it 5-6 years.

I think it is all about the money. Pitt will make a lot more money, win or lose, in the ACC. Being able to compete, is not an issue.

The result of the game sucked, but still had a blast. The atmosphere is the best its been in a long time. Place was rocking before the game and when Pitt scored that first TD. Then the INT happened, and that for some reason turned the light switch on for FSU. Wasn't much of a game after that.

FSU Is just crazy fast. Their QB is the real deal too. I know he had oodles of time to throw most of the night, but even when he didn't he made good throws. Very impressed.

Boyd for Pitt is gonna be stud, he was their best offensive weapon tonight.

Savage made some bad plays, especially those INT's .. both at awful times ... Ugh. He at least has the arm to make the deep throws though, something that Tino couldn't do. That's not to say the defense wasn't bad because it was. Couldn't wrap anyone up, and FSU's wideouts were getting WIDE Open in space all night long.

Pitt just isn't quite on that level yet.

Yes

Career 8590 total yards and 49 TD passes.
Not bad career stats. Better than what I would have guessed

He folded like a tent when it mattered. Thats why i hated the guy, that and he couldn't throw an accurate pass over 10 yards if his life depended on it.

I'm with you. The speed of Fla State is ridiculous. Pitt isn't even on the same planet. I haven't experienced that type of atmosphere at Heinz in a long while Could be a long season there...

Boyd was one of the few guys for Pitt who looked like he could play for either team, and he's a true freshman.

PLEASE DON'T TRANSFER

FreeCandy44 wrote:Does it bug anyone else that the end zone in the open end of the stadium is never painted? Be it Steelers or Panthers....those lines are always there and they are dumb.

They do it because they can't constantly repaint it from Panthers to Steelers in a single day. The one end already says Pittsburgh, and after the Pitt home schedule is over, they usually paint Steelers in that end if I recall correctly. Either that, or they could leave "Steelers" in the end zone like the Bucs do at Raymond James for USF games, which looks awful and only reminds you of how un-college like the atmosphere is.
