no. It would be exceptionally **** thing to do to the seniors given what they've gone through. Voytik does not give you a better chance to win right now, and I'm not sure how much it would even help him for next year, especially if he goes out there and tanks. You can't do that.

Still projected for bowls though from the Worldwide Leader's experts...Advocare vs. Vanderbilt and the Military Bowl vs. ECU. Should be well traveled.

Eh, not sure Pitt and beating a team "with ease" computes.

KSU is also a very good program, especially since the return of old man Snyder. Don't know how he does it.

Slappy... "Very good"????

Not this year. Heading into the WVU game KSU's record was 2-4 and their wins came against LA-Layfette and Massachusetts. Not exactly power teams.

They'll finish the year 5-7 at best. They have easy games against Kansas and Iowa State coming up.

And Troy, that's where the word "should" comes into play.

They were 11-2 and 10-3 the past two seasons and this season, they played both OKST and Baylor tough, and lost to UT on the road. The also lost to the #1 team in FCS.

Their most recent history is better than WVU's -- they were #1 in the country for a couple of weeks last year -- and both are in a down year after losing key pieces (Geno Smith and Collin Klein). I don't think you can say WVU "should" beat KSU right now in 2013, let alone do it "with ease." They are a 5 to 7 win team this season, just like WVU.

A true pitt play on that 3rd down.

This team lacks talent and I see little indication of improvement in most phases of the game. I give Chrystal a real break cuz this roster stinks but at this point this team is making no progress. Same old Pitt

Strangely enough, though now tied with Miami, Pitt has still given up the least amount of points to FSU this year. Has to be some kind of anomaly...

I don't think FSU realized they were actually that good of a football team until after that game.

If there weren't preseason polls where would FSU be ranked now?

What do you mean? I think the top 5 is more or less correct. The biggest issue with the rankings is the 10-25 range, where the SEC benefits from having the effect of interconference losses being diminished. Having Louisville ranked over UCF is a joke, and so is having Wisconsin--probably a top 15 team--ranked at 24.

I was planning on bringing a tv, stereo, and generator to the game this Saturday, but my friends ended up with a gold lot parking pass.

man, the going rate on this is ridiculous. ive seen them sell for outrageous prices for steeler games too. is parking that close to the stadium so desirable that people will pay that much? there are so many parking options within a small walk that are so much cheaper. when I drive to Heinz/pnc I either park near the Giant Eagle or up in Manchester.

You can't just expect to walk into the ACC and dominate. This isn't the SEC where the newcomers show up and win immediately. You have to pay your dues.

Holgorsen will probably be back at okstate as OC by that point and will probably put up 63 points on us. I foresee an unenjoyable road trip

Sitting in Tulsa as you write this. It's really not a bad little town. A game at OSU would be fun. I hope to attend one soon!

JP Holtz feels the same way I do about Notre Dame. Please Pitt if you only win one more game, make it against the d-bag golden domers.

"Personally, I don't like Notre Dame at all," Holtz said Monday. "It's going to make me play harder."

"I just think they're really cocky and their coaches are really cocky," Holtz said. "So, I just don't like that."

Granted there will be thousands of fans at the game tomorrow who had a grandmother whose 3rd cousin was 10% Irish and have been "die hard" Notre Dame fans since they were born, but there is a good chance that there will be more people at the Pitt game tomorrow than the Steelers game on Sunday. The world is officially upside down.

I've said it before but actual ND fans that went to ND/from south bend are the nicest fans in college football. ND fans in other parts of the merica are all a holes

I agree ulf. My brother in law, who grew up in Coraopolis and is half Irish is the biggest ND fan in the world. Never been there, couldnt name one player on the team, and is totally obnoxious when Notre Dame is discussed.

at least years game, it was easy to tell the difference.

if they looked rich and intelligent, they went to nd.

if they were talking trash after a game which they should have lost to a tino sunseri led team, they did not go to nd. as a matter of fact, we would ask where they went to school and it was invariably marquette, or UI-Chicago or something lame like that. bunch of turds
