Exactly. Fans have varying intensities of interest. In every city, you lose a good chunk of those fans as the team starts stinking and another team starts playing well. Why doesn't this make sense to every one.

what suprises kenny the kangaroo is not necessarily people jumping off the bandwagon, but the number of no shows/people who left early during that titans game was surprising. you would think all of those people dropping all of that $$$ would stick around till the bitter end. but much like pitt fans they dont have the stomach for watching crap football.

Not surprising that when fed filet mignon for many years, no one shows up when given grade d ground beef for the same price.

I certainly wouldn't pay for tickets to watch this team. That said, if I were already there, I don't know that I would leave...

Good. Now the backup at every OL position can get back to starting at TE.

I don't blame fans for not wanting to stick around and be insulted any longer with that display of offensive football.

How dare you? Was away last weekend. Just git home from the gym as the Steelers scored. They can commence winning now.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/23714311/report-antonio-brown-confronted-todd-haley-on-sidelines

"Wide receiver Antonio Brown confronted Haley (on the sidelines during the Monday night game against Cincinnati)," Bouchette wrote Wednesday. "Brown angrily complained to the coach that not enough pass plays were called for him, several sources told the Post-Gazette.

"Specifics of the argument were hard to come by but sources say that Haley was upset by Brown's actions and that the two were still seething about it Tuesday. Brown's complaint to Haley was harsh enough and the reaction to it along the sideline volatile to the point that many people there noticed, although it was not shown nor apparently caught on camera by anyone, including ESPN, which broadcast the game."

Brown, the Steelers’ No. 1 receiver after Mike Wallace left in the offseason, caught six passes against the Bengals and was targeted nine times. Both of those numbers were team-highs for the game (Jerricho Cotchery also had nine targets).

This is the problem. Cotchery needs to lead the team in targets, and certainly needs more than 9 targets a game. If you aren't going to run the offense through Cotchery, why even bother? This team isn't going anywhere without acknowledging that Cotchery is the question and the answer. Frankly, if you don't Cotchery the offense, how can you Cotchery the season at this Cotchery, Cotchery?

When asked for a prediction for Sunday's game, Bob Pompeani said on Vinnie and Cook that there is no way he sees this Steelers team going 0 and 3.

Bob Pompeani has not watched the Steelers play this season.

The beat writers have been enlisted to keep hope alive for the season:

Mark Kaboly ‏@MarkKaboly_Trib 1m
#Steelers TE Heath Miller was a full participant in practice today and it is a possibility he starts Sunday barring any setbacks
