Given their draft record from 2008 until now, this is maybe the most charitable thing you can say about them.

our defensive yardage rankings were skewed last year because before he got hurt, Ben was a GOD on 3rd downs. Our time of possesion was nuts the first half of last year. The other team's offense can't gain yards if they don't see the field.

It also didn't help when every CB got hurt at the same time and they had guys off the street trying to cover receivers.

...as does the collective group of current RBs on the Steelers roster.

I haven't kept up with his career since he left Cleveland. I know he was in Tampa but figured he wouldn't see much time with Martin on the team, but I had no idea he was buried so deep in Tampa that he was 0 carries for 0 yards...in 0 games.

Wasn't Hillis originally drafted as a FB? Can he block? They can't get any worse at TE/FB (behind Miller) than they already are.

I have Matt Forte, Brandon Marshall, and Martellus Bennett on several fantasy teams tonight. So the chances of the Steelers showing up the Bears and playing excellent D are pretty swell

Call me a PSU homer, but why exactly is Derek Moye being benched tonight? He strikes me as one of the best playmakers on the Steelers offense thus far (small sample size notwithstanding)

Should be interesting to see how a few dawn years will effect the Stiller Nation. I've met numerous members and they have no ties to Pgh and and are bandwagoners extraordinaire.

They did all right in the late nineties when they were mediocre.

Because you can't bench a TE in case Miller isn't 100%, you won't really bench Sanders, Cotchery or Brown so that leaves Wheaton, who plays a lot of special teams, or Moye.

I'd guess next week if Miller is fine we don't dress Palmer and Moye gets back in.

I think the growth has occurred since then. I don't think many of the Steeler Nation were around in the 70's.

There was a time when I wouldn't even think about watching a TV show over a live Stillers game. That time is not tonight. :pop:

23-10 steelers. Nothing rational at all to base this on.
