Only if the main plot revolves around Tesla testing a weather control device.
ONLY WHILE FIGHTING OFF THE EVIL TOMAS EDISUN AMIRITE
He started working for Edison in 1884, so I was thinking maybe his first project was an assignment for the Illuminated One's to create a weapon that could be leveraged against all corners of the earth. Development of weather modification using electromagnetic and high energy output in the upper atmosphere, using a direct current transistor.
During the assignment, he learns that Edison and his wealthy banker friends intend to unleash said weapon on the small rural town of Johnstown, PA in an effort to wipe away ancient records of alien visitors who bred with the local native tribes and created a race of supergiant hybrid humans (and collect insurance money).
He befriends the daughter of a local farmer (Scarlett Johansson), and the two of them make plans to thwart Edison's evil plan. They locate the device hidden only a few miles from downtown Johnstown, where Edison is waiting for them. Edison reveals that he changed the design of the machine to an alternating current, of which Tesla is not familiar leaving him powerless to stop the flood that ensues. Tesla spends the rest of his life attempting to rid of the world of the costly alternating current, eventually making contact with aliens and lending a hand in developing the atomic bomb. He is shuttled off to the secret Nazi moon-base, where he is injected with life-prolonging drugs by the CIA, and becomes a pioneering engineer in the secret space program.
