Looks like eastern Maine is in line for 12-18" from this next storm tomorrow. Have fun with that.

I just bit the bullet and told her what I got and what happened. I'm sure this will be a fun response.

Even though its basically sitting within a couple of miles of me, I can apparently not go pick it up since the first delivery attempt has not been made. It arrived there at 12:30. That is BS.

I'd rather they reimburse me for this being hung over my head every time something small goes wrong for the rest of my life.

Weather exemptions are a hard beast in the logistics industry. Most of the time they don't offer any recourse if the delay was caused by weather.

Yeah i'm not that worried about it, I was hoping I could go pick them up at the facility they're at, which is just a mile or so away from me. Fortunately she won't care that much, she'll just give me a hard time.

I just read about that pileup.....insanity. Especially considering the time it happened (8:30 this morning, at least eight hours after the snow ended) and the fact that the road was treated. There have been some bad accidents on the turnpike this winter.

Wake up, shovel snow, dust off car, go to work, dust off car, go home, shovel snow, sleep.

I had no freaking idea we were to get more snow today. Woke up, watched the first period of the US game and then had to take the dog to the vet, walked outside, wtf?

We had at least 8 inches of snow overnight. Had the driveway plowed yesterday at 3pm. Paid to have it done again this morning at 9am.
