Yep Kraynaks. Somehow famous for their santa land and easter bunny lane.

Funny story. (not really)

When I was about 8 or 9, my cousins and I went there for Santa Land as it was first opening. They had us sign a chalkboard that, at least until a few years ago, was still displayed in one section of Santa Land. They used a spray laminate or fixative to preserve the signatures.

I'm 46 now.

I went to a wedding in Hermitage 4 or 5 years ago (it was in a castle-looking type place?). A lot of fun

Hmm the only castle I know of is in Riverside at stonewall. 99% of the weddings are at avalon country club, it's an awesome place but not very castle looking.

That happened east of where I was this morning. Here are a couple big rigs from earlier today.

I didn't try driving in that until 10:00 am, there was still a 45 mph emergency speed limit when I started out.

My aunt lives there. Used to love going to visit her place.

And is Kraynack's(sp?) still out there?

Know it well. My mom's side of the family was from Sharon, Farrell and Masury. I also worked for 9 years at GATX RR tank car plant which was in Petroleum (which is size of a big parking lot.) It had 2 streets as I remember

Most overrated course around. They hype it up as some pristine public course. It's not a bad track, don't get me wrong.. But plenty of nicer ones around

if you want to play a nice public course, play Quicksilver in Midway, PA. It holds US Open qualifiers from time to time.

The rain we had this past weekend must have rinsed all the salt from the roads. Untreated rt 79 is slippery with a dusting, and not a salt truck is to be found.

I saw a bunch of cars and trucks slid out everywhere. I saw a dodge ram sitting on the jersey barrier of 376 west inbound side under route 60 overpass.

So, there are rumors flying around about a possible big snow/ice storm this weekend. Accuweather has listed on their site for Sunday Night into Monday an Ice Storm with 1.2 inches of ice.

The NWS is the one I go to for information and they say that 6 days out there is a large possibility that any forecast can change. They say they will know more Wed night/Thurs morning. But yes it could be a messy weekend.

I keep the accuweather app on my phone only because of the updates for the temperature and the alerts, but NOAA is usually my go-to for weather.

I'll have to look up the person's name on twitter, but there's somebody who works for WeatherBell who puts out maps that are very accurate when it comes to cold weather and winter storms.

WeatherBELL Analytics LLC is a meteorological consulting firm that provides customized weather forecasts, data services, and weather intelligence tools to entities exposed to the weather. Our forecasting team is led by two meteorologists, Joe Bastardi and Joe D'Aleo, both of whom are widely acknowledged for their skill in short, medium, and long term weather forecasting. Their proprietary techniques and combined experience of more than 60 years provide a distinct competitive advantage to WeatherBELL Analytics' clients.
