According to that site , it is a "satire" page. That's about the dumbest "satire" I've read in a while.

my comment? Not really. It was just saying that I wasn't sure if he was dead or alive.

Now if you're talking about that MediaMass site, then no. Read their FAQ page and it seems like their site is basically made to stir the pot and create rumors, which I'm sure is not what people are looking for. I'd delete my comments, but they are already responded to and the posts below wouldn't make sense without them.

Agreed. That's more like trolling and not satire.

RIP Lou, and sorry for any confusion caused in my last few posts.

RIP Lou.

Though he doesn't have any vocals here, this is one of my all time favorite songs written by Lou:

I love that song. Japan's version is very good, too.

They were talking on the radio about a 1969 velvet underground concert at the Stanley theater where they appeared with the Greatful Dead, which seems like an unusual pairing. Another group from the concert was The Fugs.

I just remebered that I had a chance to see Lou Reed last year and decided against it. What an idiot I am. I also missed three chances to see Patti Smith in the past twelve months. What a complete and utter fool I am. Grumble...

Sniffing lighter fluid with my headphones on. 1970 or close to it. This came on and my buzz was complete. A lonely kid in his room was changed by rock and roll.
