Dwyer sucks

Yeah except for when he got cut or had the starting job only to suck.

Except he didn't suck... see previous post

Ironic since you started them

Cause I stated my background knowledge in football? So people can't say anything to help bolster their opinion? Point noted...

Do you really think that your background gives you the ability to competently analyze NFL talent from watching a broadcast?

I think you helped bolster my point.

I think that i fear the org might also share your guys sentiment about their prospect and need for one more broeth window. So changes will just amount to firing Haley and a continued revolving door oline

alright, so let's address your other point... the O-line is just fine. You said they need more skill around them. Where exactly is the talent on the current o-line??? I pointed out the fact that your wrong that we don't have talent on offense, where's the talent on the o-line?

lol. ok, I said the line is good.

The line has graded as one of the worst in the league, you're spinning what i'm saying. I don't think the line is good (outside of decastro, he has grade as one of the best interior lineman and is one of the few building blocks the team has). I responded to your post, they have one good TE, one good WR and one competent RB and replacement level talent behind those players. And of course talent at QB. Miller is a good player but doesn't require extra defensive attention. Brown is the only offensive player that demands attention and helps create space. With so few players that require extra attention, defenses can just tee off on the front line with out having to worry about getting burned downfield.

Dwyer sucks

Except he always runs well... in the very few opportunities he has.

Perhaps he runs well because he has few opportunities. ie he is fresh.

Yea... he once got a lot of carries, and he did this
http://espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=321021004

Then he followed it up with, this

http://espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=321028023

Then leftwhich became qb, and the d overly stacked the line to stop Dwyer, he struggled 1 game and was never given a shot again.

I'd say "he was never given a shot again" isn't totally accurate, given he submitted these beauties once BRoeth came back:

Yes let's take Dwyers games with 10+ carries last year. Should be a good barometer.

11-52 (4.7 ypc)
14-39 (2.9)
16-49 (3.1)
12-55 (4.6)
19-56 (2.9)
17-107 (6.7)
17-122 (7.2)
12-28 (2.2)

So yeah, you tell me the outliers.

Those were the INSANLEY frustrating, ROTATE EVERY PLAY games that I hated. I don't find it a coincidence at all that Mendenhall, Dwyer, and Redman all suddenly did best when they were the only one healthy... The games I posted were only ones they truly treated him like a starting back. He had only 2 games were he was the undisputed back, stayed in, allowed to get in a rhythm, etc with B. Roeth.. The results at least should have granted him not being cut rod good ole' Issac

Just my opinion, I complained about their strategy during the year.

I think Dwyer's a decent back. Most disagree

I'll agree with the rotating backs not being the best practice. Hard to get in a rhythm. I hate it. However I see it as Dwyer doing best being the spell back. He comes in and runs hard. Just seems too out of shape/slow/whatever you want to call it to carry the load for a good amount of carries and still be effective.

The truth is... I don't know if he'd be that decent in the long term... I just felt he should have gotten more of a chance to be that guy (end of last year and when Bell was out). I have no problem with Bell being the guy now... I had a problem with trying to make Issac Redman the guy, then that doesn't work trying to make Felix Jones the guy... hell I'm sure LSH would have been given the opportunity before Dwyer.

not you. IanMoran. Bad timing of the post.

Also I agree a ton, the problem with posting what you think all the time is that even though you have 40,000 posts either agreeing with someone or just stating something, the conversations with the disagreements actually extend because instead of just agreeing, there is something to talk about. Somehow you come off as argumentative.

dwyer is a stiff and the mere fact that no one was interested in that stiff should tell you everything you need to know about him.
