In the winter i hit the car wash every 2 or 3 weeks depending on how dirty it gets with the salt stains. In the summer i might only hit the car wash once and that is befor leaving for vacation. Of course my car sits in a grauge at night then is in a parking grauge 5 days a week so it doesn't hit the elements. I only put around 9000 miles on my car a year.

The inside, as per it needs it. It has to get to a certin point befor it bothers me. Once it hits that point i have to pull over and get the clutter out. My clutter is both front seat and back concidering i have kids.

But i have seen some cars that i would be scared to get into. I wouldn't travel with one of my friends he would have half eaten burgers in his car and pop stains all over the interior.

My car will be paid off this coming July my car payment is $275 a month which is peanuts to some payments and a lot to others. Once I officially own my car I want it to look and be in good shape I know that might sound cheesy but I want to be proud of what I earned.

I don't clean my exterior or interior regularly, but 90% of the time the only things in my car are me and my laptop bag, so there's never any clutter to clean out. I could use a dusting though.

In the winter I hit the car was a every 3 weeks or so.

When I lived at a house, in the winter i at least rinsed off the wheel wells and bottom of the car every day once salt trucks had been out.

Three weeks ago I washed my car for the first time in over a year, so I'm not very good about that. Although if I had a convenient place to wash it by hand I'd do so much more often.

Inside is always clean though, I never leave any garbage inside.

I hose the outside off and pick up any trash from the interior of my MDX weekly. I don't know that it has ever seen soap, though.

Cleanliness definitely seems subjective. My rubber floor mats are "dirty" in the sense they have shoe dirt on them, but there isn't garbage all over the place. I put empty plastic gum containers (the car cups) and receipts in the door pocket thing, but other than that, there really isn't any other garbage.

Would that make my car clean or dirty?

The worst part of my car is the cup holders. They get all nasty sticky with spilling coffee and tea bottles.

Thats the one thing I cant tolerate, any surface of the cars interior being sticky from soda, coffee, ect.

Fold a paper towel and place it in the bottom of the cup holder. Dispose of it when yuckiness occurs.

the dumpster in our apartment complex is far enough away that i drive the trash to it. i just set the bag on the hood, and sometimes something leaks out. it then becomes part of my truck, and another american family is destroyed.
