Happy Ending to a bullying story

Postby Geezer on Wed Nov 20, 2013 5:19 pm

One of my granddaughters is a seventh grader who won't be 13 until next spring. She had some issues with a pack of girls in grade school which my son - in -law tried to address with school officials with no results. H e and my daughter were transferring her to some charter school for this year but that fell through somehow. Her dad was so fed up he told her to protect herself and he'd deal with school officials.
Two 9th grade boys were giving her a real hard time. A couple weeks ago they were calling her dirty namrs and describing which sex acts she should perform on them when she punched one right in the face. She gave him a bloody nose and must have drilled him good because I was told it was a gusher. I realize this is a different world than 40 some years ago when I was in junior high. But in my book any 9th grade boy who picks on 12 year old girls is a total fairy who needs to have the living sh*t kicked out of him.
This guy actually went to an asst principal and whined about getting punched. The A P told the kid he didn't believe him but my guess is he figured this boy had it coming. Anyway my granddaughter didn't get in trouble and this pair of anii have left her alone. Falls under the category of alls well that ends well.

I enjoyed his usage of the plural form.

Tough thing for school officials is there has to be solid documentation before major action can be taken. So it may not have been that they did nothing but didn't have sufficient evidence to back them up when the parents info the bullies called demanding to know why their brand of angel was punished.

I think the way it turned out is better. Some pissant bully has a bloody nose and was humiliated by a 12 year-old girl.

Yeah, it's definitely a much better ending than the bully getting off with nothing (sans bloody nose) and Geezer's granddaughter getting like a 3 or 5 day suspension.

Gushing anii is a problem for any school officials. Perhaps they should sell sanitary napkins throughout the building and not just the girls' rooms.
