I beg to differ....Alfredo can be VERY easy to mess up. I would argue any cream-based dish can be extraordinarily easy to mess up. Some people put way too much butter in, so it's greasy slop. Maintaining a nice consistency can be a tough go.

My neighbor's bathroom light is so bright it lights up my whole deck. I could read a book out here. I really wish he would turn it off.

On nice nights like this, a while. My wife and I like to sit out here and unwind from the day. An hour or two usually.

How's the quitting smoking going? That porch time is conducive to smoking time.

The E cig helps with that. Smoking about a pack a week. Combined with the exercise I feel pretty good.

We had a rash of vandalism in our neighborhood a few years back. They caught the guys, but since then our neighbors keep a big floodlight on in back, which lights not just their driveway but most of the rest of the neighborhood.

Annoying.

Same here. My neighbor put up a pole light a year ago and it lights up my entire back yard, my bedroom and our bathroom. If we weren't on good terms otherwise, I'm pretty sure I'd shoot it when they weren't home. ;)

Ever heard of the concept of a babymoon? Once you find out you've knocked up that special someone you have one last childfree vacation. Never heard of it until this morning. I guess it's a real thing since travel folks are marketing directly for it.

We took a short one, and I would argue that a babymoon makes a hell of a lot more sense than a honeymoon. Mainly because your life isn't over as you know it after the honeymoon (at least mine wasn't).

the lack of alcohol and the overall fatigue that pregnancy can inflict on a lady make babymoons kind of bleh. we went to an all inclusive place in the dominican while my wife was preggo (booked it before we knew). it was ok. but there were better uses for a few thousand bucks.
