when you say older episodes, which seasons are you referring to? some of those episodes are still just as funny and just as accurate as they were 15 and 20 years ago.

I would think if anything they would be better seeing them now as an adult vs a kid. So many of the jokes go over the head of kids.

so I'm realizing now how much the summer sucks in terms of sports. Ok, granted, my Red Sox are absolutely terrible this year but other than a few weekends of a golfing major, I've just been waiting for football and hockey to start.

Just stop already with the knowing everything. Do you think those folks ever fought with the French on Crusoe Island?

My kin in NC were Germans (found them on census forms dating back to early 1800's) and they were not the mustard types.

I really don't know what it's about, I think it's good that it's getting the attention and money, but I have no interest in doing this or donating money, does that mean I'm labeled as a terrible person now because this thing is so big? It's strange because you have to nominate other people and it becomes a thing in the office. If I put the shower on cold, shouldn't that count?

ignore it, like a rash after a one night stand.

count2infinity wrote:You're just as terrible as me, as I am not doing it, nor donating.

so confronted today if I did this, I said I turned my shower to cold for a few seconds and that's about as close as it's getting. So then they said you are donating the $100? I said in all honesty if I had an extra $100 lying around, I would buy a really awesome case of beer. thank you for being honest, case closed.

Obviously it's raising a lot of money and that is great, but I don't understand the super rich dumping water on their heads rather than paying up? I'm sure a lot are, but it just seems strange to see that because aren't they basically saying look at me dump water on my head rather than give $ to a charity? AWESOME!

well that's good. I really have not been following it, so I thought it was made out to do the water in opposition of giving money

and I like 50cents video to Floyd Mayweather

My mom and grandfather donate to the ALS foundation. I've never been confronted by someone asking for donations or to do the ice bucket thing. Seems like a social media thing, and i don't do much social media.

I saw the progression of ALS when my uncle passed away from it a few years ago. It's a terrible way to go. There are too few cases for commercial medicine to invest into research...sucks, but such is life.

Anyone have their iPhone just stop recognizing any wifi signals? The only solution that works I can find is a hard reset but I really don't want to have to do that.

I stayed at a friends beach house last week, and they had an outdoor shower which is pretty typical. But it was enclosed enough where it was actually private, and they took the extra step of running the hot water line out to this shower. Now I'm hooked on open air showering as it was freaking amazing. If I end up staying in NC and buying this house I'm in I may integrate one into the deck I plan to build. I wonder if it works at the beach because of fewer pests and what I'd have to do to make it work in the forest I live in. If I'm sitting there thinking about snakes and spiders the whole time it'll kill the fun.

Huh? I can't figure that one out. Was the SUV maybe taking off after the truck?

Pick up truck turned left off of Washington Blvd and the SUV kept going east on Washington. The city of Montebello just before Bluff drive.

As mentioned, a co-worker said at least there weren't guns, which got me to think this may have been rival gangs and when the guy in the pick up finally drove around the SUV he may have tried to shoot the other guy but his gun wouldn't work. This is not the best of areas. There was a gang killing a month ago at a burger joint at the corner where we all stopped.

Well it was a nice 3 nights of being able to use the middle floor of my house after 9pm but the mother in law is back home. I wish she would spend Thursday-Saturday night in West VA as opposed to Tuesday-Thursday. Now back to tip toeing around (literally) and being confined to the bedroom or outside on the deck.
