'other' is a choice. I love ketchup, maybe more than I should, but it has no place on a hotdog.

I need to find this near Pittsburgh. Had Texas Hots two days in a row at 4 Sons in Kane and have been craving another since.

My favorite at D's Six Pax: Mason Dixon. Chili and cole slaw. So good.

Hotdogs are one of the *very* few things for which I use ketchup. Chili and cheese is my first choice, ketchup and mustard is second.

I think if you ask for ketchup on a hot dog in Chicago it's legal grounds for the vendor to shoot you.

ulf wrote:My friend made the mistake of putting mustard on his hot dog at Wrigley. Literally everyone in the bleachers booing him and yelling "MUSTARD ON HIS HOT DOG!!" it was bizarre.

That's completely backwards. Ketchup is the hot dog condiment non grata in Chi Town.

There's a place out here called Pink's that's considered this local treasure. They're open late, which is sorta unusual in L.A., so there's always mad huge lines after hours. (I've waited in line for 45 minutes before) First time I went, I was like "This tastes like Texas Hot Dogs....." Which is a good thing, but I was expecting something a bit more considering the fuss.

Chili, Cheese, Mustard, and Onion is an unbelievable combo.

Though sport peppers on a chicago dog are delicious

This thread is going to make me go to Sheetz at midnight.

Have had the pleasure of dining at Pinks in Vegas not LA and Hot Doug's in Chicago.

I enjoy hot dogs whether or not they're from a Get-Go or some place like Franktuary that serves $5 franks

Toppings: usually just mustard. Sometimes mustard, ketchup, relish.

Sauerkraut and mustard.

Of course, with me it's on

There's good fake meat and bad fake meat. Fake hot dogs are really good, IMO.

I see this older gent at Pens games that gets a Frank each game with just onions -- older man, 200 level, looks a bit like Hans Moleman. I'm glad I don't sit by him! #garliconionburps

I have been unsuccessful in my attempts at conveying to my friends out here the divine bliss that was the Sheetz $0.49 chili dog. "How can it have any real meat?" They say. As if that means something.

Icy cold ketchup, and icy cold ketchup only for this gal. Nothing beats cold ketchup on a hot weiner.

Yeah, I said it.
