Good game.

Nice to see Cole45 back and looking good.

I also noticed Snyder is nicotine powered in recent weeks.

The Braves postgame talking about important it is that you know the speed of the centerfielder without managing to mention those two were brothers.

I blame the no doubles defense... if those two guys are lined up wherethey belong instead of up agaiagainst the wall CF upton catches that routinely. He also catches mercers bloop

Tough series coming up in MIL. I'll be surprised if we win 1/3.

Saturday was a good atmosphere at Nationals park. I'd say the crowd was 1/4 to 1/3 Pirates fans. The only other people in our row in DC 122 were Pirates fans. Heard quite a few Lets Go Bucs chants start from over on the third base side. Great weather. Nice park, but very poor acoustics for concerts and such. We stayed for the Martina McBride concert - instead of straight country she played a wide-range of genres. (Quite a few Pirate fans seen in the Diamond Club food/bar area too)

when one's frame of reference is Three Rivers, The Vet, and RFK, (ok, so also Memorial Stadium and Camden Yards in Baltimore), it's nice. Not as nice a view or neighborhood as Camden Yards or PNC Park. Not by a long shot. I don't understand why they put the open end of the outfield facing the city, instead of facing the water. But I digress. The staff is top notch though, I must give them that.

My old man went Friday and Saturday and hated it. I had the pleasure of going to the Trop back in june and it was the worst building ever not just stadium. Its probably between that, Belmont ice arena in kittanning, and a random house of complete squalor one drunk night in Spring Hill (dont ask)

The sightlines in the upper level are awful. I generally like watching hockey and baseball from the upper level more but every time i go to nats games(a lot, i go every time the braves are there) i just spend the extra to sit down low.

I40 - the only two times I've been to Nats park has been with our company's seats behind home plate (DC 122 row L - below the top of the net) so I have no idea about the rest of the place.

Off to the Haus of Horrors.

Let's get this train back on track, Buccos. You've been really bumming me out.

Gallardo tonight. That guy never gives the pirates any sorts of problems, so it should be clear sailing tonight.

Hurdle's countering by playing Gaby against Gallardo. I'm posting this complaint as a guarantee that Gaby will go 3-4 so people can say "HURR SEE STARTING GABY AGAINST A RIGHTY IS BRILLIANT SHUT UP ROCCO". I sacrifice for the team.

Nats Park isn't bad, but the thing cost nearly $700M. You'd expect something a little nicer for that kind of money.

Locke can't pitch and he can't move runners over. Not surprising for a guy who was so bad someone was able to claim Locke was throwing games and make it work for a while.
