Pouncey Brothers show good judgment at Bday this year:

Postby TheHammer24 on Mon Jul 14, 2014 12:05 pm

Nevermind. The two allegedly beat up a 5'6" man because he is gay and punched his female friend in the face. The altercation occurred at the same club where the two donned Free Hernandez shirts on their birthday last year.

http://blogs.browardpalmbeach.com/pulp/ ... claims.php

A man says that Dolphins center Mike Pouncey and his brother Maurkice assaulted him at Cameo Nightclub in Miami Beach last night, where the often-troubled Dolphins center and his twin behemoth brother were holding their annual birthday bash.

I heard this. Morons.

Honestly, I know Pouncy is good, but if this keeps up, I'm ready for the Steelers to part ways. Although Mike Pouncey seems to be a bit more trouble.

I've disliked Pouncey since the Twitter debacle minutes after Denver playoff loss. For those of you that don't remember

- Pouncey is injured / does not play
- Steelers get upset against Tim Tebow
- Minutes later Pouncey is on twitter trying to advertise his friend's rap cd
- Fans predictably insult him
- He goes on a "you're just jealous not getting paper like me rant". Including this when someone asked him why he's not upset "@Rick_D00Va why would I be mad I’m rich play for the steelers and have a awesome life!! Are u mad loser"

Just rubbed me the wrong way. I like to pretend that players care a lot about losing, even if its not true.

I wonder what the chances are that the Pounceys are caught up in the same stuff as Hernandez was.

It wouldn't surprise me. These guys are such idiots. All that money and talent and make stupid, hormonal decisions. The Steelers will probably dump him sooner rather than later. So the victim was gay? Yeah, I bet someone like Pouncey would very accepting of a gay teammate

But hey, at least we are the Ravens who had five players arrested this offseason.

NFL: Players arrested for murders, assaults, drugs, ec
NHL: Players arrested for grabbing a policeman's butt.

Ah yes

Very, very, very, very low I'd imagine.... Its quite a leap to go from just dumb, immature, idiot to a guy who's likely killed multiple people

SI had info that Mike's grand jury subpeona from last year was about his connection to gun running w/ Hernandez.

I feel like I remember another nightclub incident in college where they beat up some people together.

edit: http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/ ... ng-sources

Authorities in the Massachusetts murder case against former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez have reached out to police in Gainesville, Fla., in hopes of determining whether Hernandez had any role in a 2007 shooting that left two men wounded, a source with knowledge of the murder investigation told ABC News. One of the men was shot in the back of the head, according to a police report of the shooting obtained by ESPN's "Outside the Lines."

The police report says that Nelson and Hernandez had been in The Venue nightclub along with two other Gators players, Mike and Maurkice Pouncey, twin brothers who now both play in the NFL.

I still find it amazing that someone like Hernandez, who made more money in 2 years than like 97% of the population will in their entire lives, was stupid enough to continue to engage in gang activities and allegedly killed three people.

It's really sad because whenever I saw Hernandez on tv he seemed like a really cool, nice guy.

To borrow a line from Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, the Pouncey Brothers are like school on Saturday: no class.

Lol awesome. I can also hear Russell busting out the "N.C....no class" line on Rudy.

It's from PFT, so take it for what it's worth, but they say evidence indicates Pounceys were not involved.
