Well, this is going on again. And more finger pointing who fired first.

The thing that gets me about this is, in terms of area, Gaza is only about 1/4 the size of Los Angeles, but it has roughly 50% of L.A.'s population. That means it is incredibly dense. I don't know how military operations can be carried out in that environment without massive collateral damage.

I hate to use the word, but kind of miraculous that "only" 2000 have died there.

Groups in Gaza claimed they fired first. It's just Hamas saying that someone fired, but it wasn't them. Then they try to find an abstract way to blame Israel for basically forcing them to fire first.

1 in 6? I'd say you're setting the bar pretty low there

Asking someone specifically what ISIS is in a man on the street type segment? I think TL is giving us too much credit.

Yeah, I bet if you were fishing for idiotic responses to isis, you can get way more than 1 in 6 idiotic statements from random people anywhere.

So, would need more context on how the poll was administered. If the people were asked something like this,

"Isis, the extreme militant Islamist group operating in pockets of lawless land in the middle east, is actively committing genocide and trying to provoke a war with the united states. Do you agree with that?"

Then, if 1 in 6 people said yes in France, or anywhere...we can be upset.

Should I highlight some of the positive ISIS press? I can't say i've heard anything positive about their ascent.

Hamas agreed to a truce. So they will fire rockets in about 20 minutes.
